Buffalo Zoo marks 150th birthday with discounted admission

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Zoo celebrated its 150th birthday on Saturday. The party festivities included plenty of wildlife sightings, keeper talks, free rides, family-friendly activities, and birthday treats.

In honor of the Zoo’s founding year, 1875, admission for the day was a special rate of $18.75. The first 700 guests who attended the celebration also enjoyed a complimentary slice of birthday cake.
