The Detroit Police Department is actively searching for Alyssa Marinez, a 16-year-old girl reported missing since Tuesday. Marinez was last seen in the vicinity of Collingwood Street, navigating the blocks that stretch between 14th Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard; this after leaving for what was meant to be a brief visit to a local gas station, as ClickOnDetroit reports.
Authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance, detailing Alyssa’s appearance as 5 feet tall, weighing around 125 pounds, and at the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black Nike shirt, black pants, and red and black Nike shoes, furthermore, she is noted to have an undetermined tattoo on her right arm which may aid in her identification. Detroit Police have not just relied on the usual channels, but have extended their plea online, with the Detroit Police Department’s Missing Facebook page sharing her picture and urging anyone with information to come forward.
