GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro doctor is back home on Earth after an out-of-this-world experience with Blue Origin.
Radiologist Dr. Gretchen Green launched into space Saturday morning, part of a groundbreaking mission made possible thanks to her decades of work with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Education Foundation and Space Camp.
“There are very few things in life that are true perfection,” Dr. Green said in a video released by Blue Origin after the flight. “When I looked out from space and back down to Earth, our training was perfect, the experience from Blue Origin was just unparalleled and amazing, and that was the word that came to mind.
