Walton Senior Earns Highest GPA in Cobb Schools, Heads to UPenn in Fall

EAST COBB — Recent Walton High School graduate Edward Yao has always been a natural leader.

Not only was he named his school’s valedictorian for the cass of 2025 — with a 4.875 grade-point average — but he also led the entire Cobb County School District with the highest GPA out of any graduating senior, according to principal Stephanie Santoro.
