Chumlee Hulks Out Over Wrestling Mag on “Pawn Stars”
Las Vegas – The History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” saw a burst of wrestling mania recently when a seller brought in a Sports Illustrated magazine signed by none other than Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. Chumlee, never one to hide his enthusiasm, channeled his inner Hulkster, ripping off his jacket and letting out a boisterous “Oh yeah, brother!”
The addition of Flair’s signature elicited a “Woo!” for good measure, much to the amusement of the seller and the slight embarrassment of Corey Harrison, who apologized for Chumlee’s exuberant display.
The seller was initially hoping for $140 for the rare dual-signed magazine. However, Corey, ever the shrewd negotiator, countered with a significantly lower offer of $75.
After some back-and-forth, they settled on a price of $100, with Chumlee playing an unexpected role in sealing the deal. Appealing to the seller’s shared Hulk Hogan fandom, Chumlee declared it a “mega deal,” convincing the seller to accept.
The “Pawn Stars” crew’s admiration for Hulk Hogan isn’t one-sided. Rick Harrison once had a memorable encounter with the wrestling legend, who revealed himself to be a fan of the show.
Even Corey’s childhood fandom made an appearance, with a story emerging about a Hulk Hogan doll and a forged autograph from Rick. A heartwarming anecdote, to be sure, but one that prompted online commenters to joke about the doll’s potential resale value on the show.
