CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston Center, in partnership with FAVOR Lowcountry, will host a Naloxone Awareness Day event this week.
The event will take place on Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at 3685 Rivers Avenue. The event aims to raise awareness about the lifesaving power of Naloxone and educate the public on recognizing overdose signs and administering the medication effectively.
The event will feature stories from individuals whose lives have been saved by Naloxone, highlighting the essential role of community partnerships in harm reduction and recovery support.
