Carfagna’s hosting annual cheese fest this month

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A local Italian restaurant and market is getting ready to hold its annual festival, calling it “the largest cheese event of the year.”

Carfagna’s Market and Ristorante at 1440 Gemini Place is holding its fourth annual cheese festival, “Parmageddon.” The event is set for June 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cheese fans can check out imported 90-pound wheels and try a taste from across the world, according to Carfagna’s website. The festival will also provide freshly made Cheese Wheel Pasta that patrons can try, or get a dinner portion of Cacio e Pepe made right at your table in one of the “big cheese wheels.”
