LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police is investigating suspected vandalism to the Belvedere’s York Statue.
Officers responded to the Belvedere on West Main Street around 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 30 on a report of damage to the statue. Upon arrival, they were notified that the arm of the statue had been damaged because someone was trying to saw it off.
