Teen charged with involuntary manslaughter in shooting near Conway

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 17-year-old is facing a manslaughter charge after “negligently and recklessly” shooting a person near Conway on Sunday, according to Horry County police records obtained by News13.

Damarion Nealy of Loris was charged with involuntary manslaughter. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Sunday, where he remains as of late Monday morning on a $100,000 bond.

Officers responded to Highway 905 in the Conway area for a shooting at about 12:25 a.m. Sunday, a police report shows. The victim was found in the back of the residence with a wound to their head and pronounced dead at the scene…
