The Worcester Police Department reported an arrest at a local Walmart involving a suspect allegedly connected to heroin trafficking.
According to a social media post by the department last Saturday, just as the sun began to dip and cast long shadows across Tobias Boland Way, an officer working an assigned detail at Walmart was alerted by the asset protection team to a shoplifting incident around 5:30 p.m. Two individuals were reportedly attempting to exit the store with unpaid merchandise.
