A 9-year-old child from Troy remained in critical condition Monday three days after accidentally shooting himself in the head, police said.
According to the Troy Police Department, officers were called to home on Crooks Road shortly past 4 p.m. last Friday after receiving a request for an ambulance. First responders found the boy bleeding from the head and transported him to an area hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
