HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Horry County Schools’ governing board on Monday approved a $1.14 billion budget for 2025-26 that includes teacher pay raises and more special education spending.
“Investing in educators means investing in excellence. That’s why we are recommending higher pay for Horry County teachers,” Superintendent Clifford Jones told board members last month. “This budget reflects our deep commitment to retaining and recruiting top talent that make a difference every single day.”
