EUGENE – The 2025 Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) OnPoint Community Credit Union Track and Field State Championships was hosted this past weekend at Hayward Field in Eugene. From Thursday, May 29, through Saturday, May 31, young athletes from across Oregon came together to put their skills to the test. During the 3-day event, students from Eastern Oregon gave it their best and then some, with various teams earning top marks in their divisions for the championship overall.
In Boys 1A, Joseph Boys came 3rd with 59.5 points, followed closely by Union boys in 4th with 59 points among 39 ranked teams. In Boys 3A, the Burns team came in second at 88 points among 33 ranked teams, one point short of tying for first.
In Girls 1A, Imbler girls came in first place at 71 points, followed by Joseph at 65 points among 37 ranked teams. Also, for Girls 1A, Union came in 6th, only missing the top 5 by a single point. For Girls 2A, Enterprise Came 5th overall at 44 points among 25 ranked teams. Girls 3A saw Vale take 3rd at 44 points among 32 ranked teams. Lastly for the Eastern Oregon rankings, in Girls 4A, La Grande came in second place overall at 69.5 points, among 28 ranked teams…
