BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Fire Department’s Water Rescue team responded to a call reporting a woman holding onto a branch made at River and Bison Roads just before 5:30 p.m. last night.
After safely removing the woman from the water, she was taken to the hospital to be checked out and no major injuries were reported, according to BFD.
Less than two hours after the previous rescue, the Kern County’s Sheriff’s Office’s search and rescue team responded to call at River and Harbor Roads. The call reported a teen sitting on a branch near the river, unable to get to safety on her own…
