COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Columbus police dash and body camera footage shows a city police officer crash while responding to the shooting of two Mifflin Township police officers last week.
The video, released Tuesday, begins with an officer hearing the “officer down” call over his radio, referring to the shooting of two Mifflin Township police officers during a traffic stop on the evening of May 28; an officer can be heard yelling the address, “Mecca and Perdue,” which is where the incident was reported.

The footage shows the officer driving toward the call, weaving in and out of traffic while driving on a residential road at what seems to be a high speed.
At one point, a blue SUV turns left into a parking lot and into the path of the police cruiser. The cruiser then crashes into the SUV’s driver’s side before rolling onto the sidewalk.
