Window washer rescued after dangling from S.F. high-rise

A San Francisco window washer was rescued Tuesday after coming loose from a scaffold in the Nob Hill area, authorities said.

The worker was taken to a hospital for minor injuries, said Samuel Menchaca, spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to 1170 Sacramento St., a 19-story residential building near Huntington Park, just before 12:30 p.m. for a report of a worker who came loose while cleaning windows, Menchaca said…
