City orders Westcott Theater to stop holding events after fights, shots fired nearby

Syracuse, N.Y. — City officials Tuesday ordered that no further events be held at the Westcott Theater until management corrects code violations and obtains proper entertainment licenses.

Code enforcement and fire safety inspectors visited the theater this week after fights and gunfire followed an event last weekend.
