WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas — Authorities are investigating after the body of an unidentified woman was pulled from the Trinity River Tuesday evening near White Settlement Road.
According to a news release from the Westworth Village Police Department (WVPD), officers responded around 5 p.m. to a report of a person face-down in the river. Within minutes of arriving, officers saw two bystanders already attempting to recover the victim. Police assisted in pulling the woman from the water, but determined she was already deceased.
