Dawya Davis, who had racked up an impressive $30,549, chose the “Phrase” category for the bonus round. Given the letters R, S, T, L, N, and E, she selected M, P, C, and A as her additional choices.
Unfortunately, these letters provided little help. The puzzle displayed “_ _ N_ _ _ A _E,” leaving Davis stumped.
Her 10 seconds ticked away, and she was unable to solve the puzzle. The revealed answer?
“Kind of Vague.” The irony wasn’t lost on viewers, who found the situation amusing.
