ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital has unveiled a new, state-of-the-art ambulance dedicated solely to the transport of newborns and infants requiring neonatal intensive care.
The move is expected to significantly improve emergency response times and elevate care for the region’s most vulnerable patients.
The custom-designed NICU transport ambulance, stationed at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, will serve newborns weighing up to 10 pounds and in need of specialized medical attention.
