Student challenges WiFi evidence in Case Western vandalism case

CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Case Western Reserve University student charged with vandalizing the school says police violated his constitutional rights by identifying cell phones connected to campus WiFi without a warrant.

Nathan George, 22, was one of 11 people accused of causing $400,000 in damage to the campus in November. He pleaded not guilty to charges of felony vandalism, possessing criminal tools and breaking and entering.
