Kate and Chris Harrison know what it’s like to face the unknown. Thankfully, their story had a happy ending, and they have turned their gratitude into action.
The Harrisons are serving as legacy chairs for the 2025 American Heart Association Upstate Heart Ball, to be held June 20 at the Greenville Convention Center.
“Our involvement with the American Heart Association started several years ago,” Kate Harrison says. “We first dipped our toe in in 2020, which was quite the year to dip your toe into the American Heart Association, because I was the chair of the silent auction that year. Of course, two days before the event is when the world went dark with COVID. Shifting everything to virtual was quite the feat, but that was my first experience interacting with them on a volunteer level.”…
