KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Public Schools (KPS) and local families have pledged their support for their students’ education.
Wednesday, the district and The Kalamazoo Promise held their annual Promise Signing Day for kindergartners, according to Kalamazoo Public Schools.

Held at Spring Valley Center for Exploration, 3530 Mt. Olivet Rd., the annual celebration allowed families, the district and The Kalamazoo Promise to pledge their support to this year’s kindergartners as they continue their education, officials said.
“Once a year, we sign a promise with the newest class of students in KPS to promise them the promise when they graduate from high school, to encourage them to stay in class and.
