Rockwall County, TX (June 4, 2025) – The Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse is proud to announce their 2025 Scholarship recipients. These students have participated in 4-H, FFA or other agricultural-related programs and have plans to continue to support the industry in the future.
Recipients (pictured with Commander Chris Knox and Scholarship Chairman Corey Hunt) are:
- McKenzie Thummel
- Kate Smith
- Faith Jacobs
- Leilani McIntyre
- Jackson Shahan
- Allyson Roberts
Each student selected for the 2025 R.C.S.P. Scholarship was awarded a $2,000 scholarship to an accredited college, technical institute, trade or vocational school. In addition, Cavender’s of Rockwall provided each student with a $100 gift card.
R.C.S.P. Commander Chris Knox remarked, “It was a difficult decision for our scholarship committee to narrow down to just six recipients when we know all of the young people in agricultural programs are incredibly hardworking and dedicated. We enjoyed meeting our 2025 recipients as well as their supportive families and learning about their future plans. Rockwall County has a rich agricultural history and we could not be more proud to support these students and know they will continue to give back to our community.”…
