A week of loose moose: Agencies report moose sightings on Front Range

DENVER — It’s been a week of loose moose in Colorado, as the four-hooved animals were spotted in populated Front Range areas.

In the past week, one meandering moose was relocated from Arvada, and another was spotted in Douglas County. The Arvada Police Department and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office posted about them via social media on Wednesday.

Arvada Police reported that a 3-year-old female moose that had been walking near West 75th Avenue and Simms Street was safely captured and taken back to the mountains on Thursday…
