BOISE, Idaho – Attorney General Raúl Labrador said the conviction of a 54-year-old Meridian man sends a clear message about Idaho’s commitment to prosecuting those who exploit children.
Brandon Taro, 54, was found guilty of three counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child by possessing sexually exploitative material, the AG’s office announced.
Taro was sentenced on May 28, 2025, by Ada County District Judge Nancy Baskin. He received a 20-year sentence, with 2½ years fixed and 17½ years indeterminate. Taro must also register as a sex offender…
