Man riding motorcycle dies in crash in Eagle

A motorcyclist died Tuesday in a crash with a pickup truck.

The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old man, was traveling south on Highway 55 in Eagle around 9 p.m. Tuesday when a 2020 Chevy Silverado pickup truck, driven by a 46-year-old man, collided with the motorcycle upon turning from northbound Highway 55 onto West Floating Feather Road, according to a news release from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.

The motorcyclist, who has not yet been publicly identified, died at the scene, the release said. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the collision, according to the sheriff’s office, which added that no charges have been filed…
