EUGENE, Ore. — Close to $16 million in cuts are on the way for the Eugene 4J School District for the 2025-2026 school year, and 4J says the problem will only get worse.
The district points to lower enrollment numbers which it attributes to lower birth rates and a lack of affordable housing in Lane County.
