Mom renews call for help in finding daughter last seen months ago

ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said it is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teen who just celebrated her birthday over the weekend.

Ava-Colleen Moore disappeared after leaving her Orlando home on March 26, 2025.

Her mother, Cheriee Moore, said she hasn’t been in contact with her daughter since she vanished, which is “very out of character.”

Cheriee said she wants nothing more than to know that her daughter is OK.

“Cheriee is devastated that she wasn’t by Ava-Colleen’s side for her birthday on Saturday. What should have been a joyful celebration was instead a heartbreaking reminder that her daughter is still missing,” the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said in a news release…
