Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in West Houston; Driver Charged with DWI

ouston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 1001 Brittmoore Road around 2 a.m. on May 30, which resulted in the death of a 23-year-old male. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Johnson, a black Dodge Charger was stationary at a stop sign at the intersection of Brittmoore Road and Old Katy Road, traveling northbound. A silver Toyota Corolla, also heading northbound, failed to control its speed and struck the Dodge, pushing it into the intersection.

The driver of the Dodge Charger was standing outside his vehicle when he was struck by a silver Chevrolet Captiva traveling westbound on Old Katy Road. Paramedics transported the male driver to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased…
