Southside Elementary investigation complete, school will have new principal and assistant principal

MADISON, Wis. — An investigation into Southside Elementary School’s administration team is complete, and the school will have a new principal and assistant principal when the next school year begins.

Madison Metropolitan School District Superintendent Joe Gothard shared the update with Southside families on Wednesday in an email. He did not provide any further information regarding the investigation. A district spokesperson told News 3 Now that the investigation was a personnel matter and confidential.
