KENNER, La. (WGNO) — Kenner Police arrested 28-year-old Jarred Ambrose for his alleged connection to a shooting that left an 89-year-old wounded.
According to the Kenner Police Department, on May 23 the victim noticed a man driving a motorcycle or moped in a reckless manner. The two exchanged words and the man allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired at the victim. The victim suffered two gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital.

According to KPD, on May 26, officers were called to Ambrose’s residence after his mother and sister reported that he was firing a gun inside the home. Ambrose said he was firing at an intruder. The family barricaded themselves in rear bedrooms and called the police.
At the scene, KPD officers said they recovered a 9mm semiautomatic handgun and two scooters. Ambrose reportedly confessed to the May 23 shooting after being questioned by Kenner detectives…
