CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The man who’s accused of setting his own Charlotte house on fire is back in town after being extradited from Chicago.
The Cook County (Ill.) Sheriff’s Office said that Michael Edward Barnette was in custody Thursday of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff. He was charged there in connection to a home on Lombardy Circle exploding May 2, and arrested May 9 in Chicago on an out-of-state warrant as a fugitive from justice.
