Local law enforcement runs for Special Olympics

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Commuters heading down Fifth Street between Albemarle County and Charlottesville Thursday, June 5, might have noticed a large group of runners and a police escort.

Albemarle County, Charlottesville, Airport Police Departments and Greene County Sheriff’s Office participated in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
