EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso Water hosted a tour of a water treatment facility in South El Paso that demonstrates how it cleans river water and prepares it for drinking water.
EP Water took KFOX14/CBS4 through a tour of the Robertson/Umbenhauer Water Treatment Plant on Thursday morning.
The facility, which is located at 800 Canal Road, in between the railroad tracks and the U.S.-Mexico Border, right along the Rio Grande, is one of two in El Paso that take river water and clean it before it’s distributed to customers…
