KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A family-led organization in Kansas has invited community members to share their stories of how Medicaid has impacted them at an upcoming Town Hall.
Little Lobbyists Kansas, a family-led organization that advocates for children with every type of disability, has invited community members to share the impact Medicaid cuts would have on their families at a June 17 Town Hall. The event will take place at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 7740 Lackman Rd., at 6 p.m.
Organization leaders noted that a budget passed by the U.S. House of Representatives includes more than $700 billion in cuts to Medicaid over the next decade. These cuts fund tax cuts for higher-income brackets…
