Man formally sentenced to 20 years in prison for death of Barnsdall teen in 2024 crash

UPDATE (6/5/25) — A man was formally sentenced to 20 years in prison for the death of a Barnsdall teenager in a 2024 crash on Thursday.

FOX23 told you in April when Weston Lowe denied a jury trial and accepted a plea deal resulting in a sentence of 20 years with a five year judicial review for the death of Barnsdall teenager Tyson Townley.

Lowe was facing charges of first degree manslaughter, child endangerment by driving under the influence, and leaving the scene of an accident with fatality due to the death of Tyson Townley…
