Multiple emergency units were dispatched Thursday morning, June 5, 2025, in response to a reported stabbing outside a 7-Eleven store at 1481 W. Meeker Street in Kent (map below), according to Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority dispatch data.
The call, classified as a stabbing requiring medical attention, was logged at 6:29 a.m. on Thursday morning. Initial response units A371 and E471 were on scene promptly, with several additional medic and support units — including M7, D307, MS01, KFBC, and TRI73 — dispatched shortly afterward between 6:33 and 6:46 a.m.
Kent Police posted on Facebook at 7:27 a.m. that “W. Meeker St. is currently closed from 64th Ave. to W. Smith St. Closure is estimated to last several hours, please take alternative routes.”…
