Break between storms brings sunshine to Alaska

ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) – As Friday approaches, the state will see the stormy weather pushing out, allowing for sunnier skies and a break from those cold wet conditions. Make your hiking and outdoor plans for tomorrow because as that sun peaks out for the day, it will go right back into hiding for the weekend.

Into the evening hours Friday night and early Saturday morning, the southern coastal region from the Kenai Peninsula to southeastern Alaska will feel the effects of another low pressure system bringing rainier conditions for our first June weekend. Anchorage will see the same for Saturday and Sunday.
