Two Arrested, One at Large After Meth Lab Bust in Cobb County, Feds Say

Two men have been arrested, with law enforcement still searching for another, in connection to a Cobb County meth lab bust this week, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia.

Juan Perez-Maldonado and Francisco Garcia Gomez, who moved to the U.S. illegally from Mexico, appeared in federal court on Wednesday, following their arrests earlier this week on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to a news release.

In addition, Gomez and Filemon Hernandez-Jijon, who also illegally immigrated from Mexico, were both charged with possession of a firearm while being unlawfully present in the U.S…
