COLUMBIA, S.C. — The first Whataburger in Columbia’s city limits is now moving closer to opening.
This week, the signs on the building, located at 4456 Devine Street, were turned on at night. Crews have been working for months to refurbish and transition the building to a location for the popular burger chain.
The site is the former PDQ restaurant that closed down in February of 2024. The store is located across the street from the Whole Foods shopping and down the road from the Shoppes at Woodhill, where Target is located…
