KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo’s beloved Kik Pool will be having a soft opening on Monday, June 9 as lifeguard training continues.
The delayed opening is due to an issue in finding a new trainer for hired lifeguards, according to city officials. As more lifeguards are trained, the pool hours will return to normal hours, with regular hours expected to start June 18.
