Patient at Myrtle Beach area doctor’s office steals car, leads police on high-speed chase

A woman who led police on a high-speed chase through Horry County stole the vehicle from a Myrtle Beach area doctor’s office.

Melissa Heather Hakoun, 36, of Loris, was charged by Horry County Police with failure to stop for a blue light, driving under a suspended license, third-degree assault and battery and grand larceny.
