TriMet suspends MAX service for 2 days for major station construction at Northeast 82nd Avenue

PORTLAND, Ore. — TriMet will suspend service on the MAX blue, green and red lines for two days to begin construction on a major renovation of the Northeast 82nd Avenue MAX Station.

The disruption will occur Sunday, June 8, through Monday, June 9, with shuttle buses replacing MAX trains between the Oregon Convention Center and Gateway/Northeast 99th Avenue Transit Center.

“The two-day disruption is necessary to keep MAX riders moving through the NE 82nd Ave MAX Station later this summer and fall,” according to TriMet officials…
