Moore Square in Downtown Raleigh has become a bustling location where the community can to gather to enjoy good food and the outdoors. Launching a weekly lunch series, the park is inviting food trucks to set up shop on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Martin Street Plaza, as reported by the City of Raleigh government website. With space for up to three trucks each service day, residents and workers in the area can look forward to a variety of dining options.
Note to food truck operators: The plaza has been adjusted to better accommodate your vehicles. However, the historic oak trees pose a risk with their low hanging branches. Moore Square staff have been tasked to always guide you in, to prevent any possible damage to your trucks or the trees. Those interested in contributing to this weekly event must complete an application on the aforementioned City of Raleigh website.
