Buy one of the biggest cattle ranches in Texas, buy 78-year old steak house… makes sense, right?
The iconic West Texas Ranch, the Four Sixes, was sold toYellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan for a cool $192 million dollars back in 2022. The 142,000-acre ranch located in Guthrie, Texas, was originally listed for a whopping $340 million, however the most recent listing from Chas S Middleton showed a price of $192,202,200. A group led by Yellowstone and Landman creator, Taylor Sheridan, made the purchase, and of course, we saw Yellowstone film down there quite a bit in Season 4, and fans are still expecting a spinoff to take place down there… we’ll see.
And now, Sheridan and his business partners have officially taken ownership of another piece of Texas history… the historic Cattlemen’s Steakhouse, located in Stockyards District of Fort Worth, Texas, right down the street from the iconic Billy Bob’s. The Cattlemen’s Steak House has been slinging piles of beef since it first opened its doors in 1947, but Sheridan and company and planning to dump a whole bunch of money into a full renovation that will feature new dining, bar, patio and event spaces…
