Florida Poly recently celebrated the largest graduating class in university history.
Florida Polytechnic University reached a significant milestone last month as it celebrated its largest commencement ceremony to date, as more than 330 students earned in-demand degrees at the state’s only all-STEM public university, ready to make important contributions to their industries.
For the graduates, the record-breaking event at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland in Central Florida marked the culmination of years of intensive study and hands-on learning designed to prepare them for high wage, high-skill careers.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet, but I’m glad that four years of hard work have finally come to an end,” said computer engineering graduate Akilah Dixon, from Land O’ Lakes, Florida. “It’s just an exciting feeling that I cannot describe.”…
