That’s right, sue people, and people are suing in today’s world. You can sue for just about anything these days, and boy, are people taking advantage of this privilege.
Have you ever felt victimized by a fast food restaurant after they charged you for extra cheese and pickles and didn’t give you extra cheese and pickles? Did they put tomatoes on your burger when you specifically asked for no tomatoes because you loathe those rounded circles of seeds? Trust me, I sympathize.
Houston Man is Suing Whataburger for Putting Onions in His Meal
You read that right, a Houston man is doing what we all want to do when we get something we hate on our burger. He is suing a fast food restaurant for putting onions on his hamburger.
Why is a Houston Man Suing Whataburger over Onions?
Now, before you start thinking that this is a frivolous lawsuit. It’s not. Demery Ardell Wilson is suing Whataburger in Harris County because after the restaurant put onions on his hamburger after he asked for the meal with no onions, he “sustained serious personal injuries for which he had to see the care of medical professionals.” In other words, Wilson is allergic to onions, and he had an allergic reaction.
