Arizona Humane Society announces no adoption fees on all pets for National Best Friend Day

PHOENIX — The Arizona Humane Society announced that in honor of National Best Friend Day it will waive adoption fees for all adoptable pets, even puppies and kittens.

The adoption special will be available at all three of AHS’ adoption locations for Saturday only. Each location is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why is AHS waiving adoption fees for National Best Friend Day?

AHS currently has almost 2,000 pets that it’s caring for within its shelter and foster homes. It is using this event to call on the community to help free up some much needed kennel space so it can continue to care for more sick, injured or abused pets.
