LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Multiple occupants of a Lexington apartment complex were evacuated on Saturday afternoon after a vehicle hit a gas meter in the area.
It happened just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Lexington Fire Department. Crews were dispatched after a vehicle hit and sheared off a gas meter in the area.

Lexington fire officials told Fox 56 News that occupants of the apartment complex were evacuated, and Columbia Gas was sent to the scene of the crash to shut off the gas.
